As the Vice President of Design + Development, my role is to: lead the nationwide expansion of commercial tenant improvement projects from site selection, design, drawing production, city permitting, GC bidding, construction management through to final staging. Doubled the company's size by developing ten new, localized salons. Orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely execution of project milestones and deliverables. Contract & coordinate with surveyors, architects, engineers, permit expeditors, contractors and fabricators. Present & execute growth plans with initiatives to streamline processes and optimize workflows with the goal of increasing efficiency while decreasing cost. Manage an annual development budget of roughly $5M. Empower team members by providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure their growth and success.
